A gold widget for Thailand
Thailand's gold page lists 24K and 18K per gram. The widget offers 24K, 22K, 21K, 20K, 18K, 16K, 14K and 10K. Usual Thai bar gold is 96.5% pure, about 23K, which the widget does not offer. The 18K preview is a gold content reference for 18K, not a Thai bar gold price.
A Thai shop or finance page can show the widget in grams and troy ounces. Baht weight is a local gold unit, separate from the baht currency. Work out a baht weight value from the gram price, allowing for the gold's purity.
What this gold value covers
The value comes from the gold spot price and reflects gold content only. It excludes dealer premium, making charges and tax, which a shop's selling price includes.
