Can I switch plans or cancel anytime?
Yes. Upgrade, downgrade, or cancel from the account page. Billing is prorated to the day, and we don't charge setup or cancellation fees. If you cancel mid-month, your key stays live until the end of the period.
Why is MCP on every plan?
Because MCP is how people evaluate the API. If we gate it behind Pro, you can't try it in Claude Desktop or Cursor before you commit. Paid plans get the real-time feed and higher throughput.
What happens when I hit my rate limit?
We return 429 Too Many Requests with a Retry-Afterheader. We never auto-bill you for overage. Hitting your monthly cap suspends the key until the reset date; there's no silent overage billing. Sustained abuse triggers a conversation, not a charge.
Can I use this in a commercial product?
On Pro, yes, with a visible attribution like "Gold prices by goldprice.dev". Full text and placement guidance on the Attribution page. Free and Basic are for internal use (dashboards, backtests, personal tools). Redistribution (reselling our feed as your feed) is not permitted on any tier.
