Basic, Plus and Pro include dealer prices by country with premiums over spot. Plus includes SSE or WebSocket streaming and 1h and 4h intraday bars. Pro adds streamed dealer prices and 1m to 4h bars with full depth. Free and Basic have no streaming or intraday bars.
If you already pay for Physical, Pro, Realtime Pro or the older Basic, you keep that plan, its price and limits while your subscription stays active. Moving to a new plan or cancelling ends the old price. Before switching, the site shows what you would give up.
Every plan includes the MCP server with 9 tools. The plans differ in data access and limits.
At the rate limit, the API returns 429 with Retry-After. Reaching the monthly cap pauses your key until reset. There is no overage billing.
Yes. Free, Basic, Plus and Pro allow commercial use. Free requires a visible link to goldprice.dev near the prices. Paid plans need no credit; a link is welcome but optional. See the Attribution page. The official gold price widget keeps its credit. Redistribution and resale require a reseller plan.
Yes. Any plan covers any number of websites and apps operated by you or companies that control, are controlled by, or are under common control with you.
Free prices are 15 minutes late. Basic, Plus and Pro have live prices.
Futures, settlements, ETF bars and ratios are not in any new plan. Existing subscribers whose older plans include them keep them while their subscriptions stay active.
