Can I switch or cancel?
You can switch or cancel in your account. Before switching, the site shows what the new plan would give up.
Which plans include dealer prices, streaming and intraday bars?
Basic, Plus and Pro include dealer prices by country with premiums over spot. Plus includes SSE or WebSocket streaming and 1h and 4h intraday bars. Pro adds streamed dealer prices and 1m to 4h bars with full depth. Free and Basic have no streaming or intraday bars.
I'm on an older plan. What changes?
If you already pay for Physical, Pro, Realtime Pro or the older Basic, you keep that plan, its price and limits while your subscription stays active. Moving to a new plan or cancelling ends the old price. Before switching, the site shows what you would give up.
Why is MCP on every plan?
Every plan includes the MCP server with 9 tools. The plans differ in data access and limits.
What happens at a usage limit?
At the rate limit, the API returns 429 with Retry-After. Reaching the monthly cap pauses your key until reset. There is no overage billing.
Can I use the data commercially?
Yes. Basic ($19), Plus ($39) and Pro ($89) allow commercial use without credit. Free public displays require a visible credit link. Older Pro and Realtime Pro displays require "Powered by goldprice.dev" or a goldprice.dev link. Internal business use needs none. See the Attribution page. The official gold price widget keeps its credit. Redistribution and resale require a reseller plan.
Can one plan cover several websites, including our group companies’ sites?
Yes. Any plan covers any number of websites and apps operated by you or companies that control, are controlled by, or are under common control with you.
Are the prices live?
Free prices are 15 minutes late. Basic, Plus and Pro have live prices.
Where are futures?
Futures, settlements, ETF bars and ratios are not in any new plan. Existing subscribers whose older plans include them keep them while their subscriptions stay active.
