goldprice.dev/attribution

Source attribution

We aggregate from multiple commercial and reference data feeds. Any /v1/prices request with ?include=sources returns a sources[] array naming the specific feed and license that contributed to that response.

Official gold price widget

The official branded widget includes its required credit inside the iframe: Powered by goldprice.dev. Personal and commercial websites may use it free without an account or API key, provided the iframe is not modified and the credit remains visible. White-label or modified presentation rights require a separate Enterprise agreement.

API data in commercial products

API data is licensed for commercial use on Pro and above. Place a visible Powered by goldprice.dev link near the displayed price or in the surrounding data-source disclosure. The official widget carveout above does not change API plan rights.

Tokenized gold via CoinMarketCap

Tokenized-gold prints (PAXG, XAUT) are sourced from CoinMarketCap under their commercial Basic plan. Per CoinMarketCap's terms, attribution is required when surfacing this data downstream.

Required credit string: "Tokenized gold data via CoinMarketCap." Place it near any UI surfacing PAXG or XAUT prices, or in your docs / methodology page if redistributing.

Other sources

Detailed per-feed attribution requirements publish with the next v1.x update. In the meantime, the sources[] array (add ?include=sources to any /v1/prices request) carries the source identifier, license tag, andsource_timestamp for the feed that produced the price you received. See /methodology for the calculation and validation approach.
